Featured Artist Search

The committee for the 49th Annual Pennridge Gallery of the Arts is pleased to
offer a unique opportunity for you to become the Featured Artist on September
17, 2017. Artists who are painters, photographers, sculptors or mixed media
artists are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
The former home and studio of Walter Emerson Baum, and current retail location of Bux-Mont Awards, is the space in which your work will exhibit, free of charge. This location on Main and Green Streets in Sellersville is always a destination highlight for guests and visitors during the art festival, which is held from 12 noon to 5pm. There is ample space for artwork to be hung and displayed, and it has good direct lighting.

If selected, you may exhibit as many pieces as you like and, of course, your work
may be offered for sale. This opportunity is limited to resident Bucks County
artists. A few who have been featured in the past include Dean Thomas, Ruth
Taylor, and Virginia Abbott. To apply, select the CONTACT page in the menu at the top. Use the form to send us your contact information, website address, a brief bio about yourself. You will be notified by email no later than April 15 if you have been accepted as the 2017 Featured Artist.

Art in the Parlours

Also worthy to note, Pennridge Gallery of the Arts has a new feature for 2017 for
artists who wish to participate without setting up a tent! The Washington House
will open its dining rooms, the Parlours, to host artworks to be displayed and
judged for the “Best of the Parlours” award of $250. The entry fee is $20 per
artist/per piece. Work must be offered for sale – you keep full price. If you are interested in submitting an entry, use the artist/crafter registration form on our website if you plan to mail in your check, or enter and use the Paypal Art in the Parlours button to register on line. We look forward to hearing about your interest in participating in this long standing event. Our vision is dedicated to preserving the arts in Bucks County, and bringing the finest Artists and Crafters to the Pennridge community. We welcome you to share our vision and join us!
